Since birth, you’ve been trying to prove yourself.
“But God proves his own love for us
in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8.
“If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it proves that we have passed from death to life.” - 1 John 3:14a.
“Therefore produce fruit that proves your repentance.” - Matthew 3:8.
“This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials. Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold.” - 1 Peter 1:6-7a.
THAT’S KINGDOM PROVEN LEADERSHIP.
You can hire a coach to push your goals…
Or you can choose one to develop the man.
Which do you think is more biblical?
Which yields more lasting results?
Hi, I’m Christian Life and Leadership Coach Miles Stock.
I help Christian men in leadership roles
become more effective
without burning out
by following Jesus
in all seven areas of life.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
Recently, I’ve been coaching a professional athlete retired from the NFL.
His story reminds me of the value of grit and determination. When a team hoists a championship trophy, the euphoria they feel is because of how much work they put into it. But what about two days or two years later?
The luster of money, fame, and accomplishment fades faster than you’d expect.
If you have a rewarding career, it didn’t happen by accident. If you have a joy-filled marriage, it took work to get there. What do you have that’s valuable and hasn’t taken diligence, hard work, and investment?
Everything precious takes time and effort… which makes it even more important to consider the carrot on the end of that stick.
I’m glad my client has taken that challenge.
The Bible’s wisdom is timeless.
It says, “Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run to win. Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one (1 Corinthians 9:23-25, NET).”
Is the realization of what you’re striving for going to deliver what you really need? That true sense of belonging and knowing that you’re fulfilling your purpose?
You don’t have to win a championship to contend for something great.
GOD CREATED YOU WITH A PURPOSE.
YOU MAY BE KILLING IT
IN ONE OR TWO AREAS…
But how’s it going living out your faith in all seven?
CAREER: Where do you want to be in five years? Are you and all the members of your team on track and following through together? Is each one of them aligned with your vision? How do you motivate them from within?
Your FINANCES: Balancing priorities with less stress and more confidence…
Escaping the hamster wheel of burnout to get the REST and recreation you need…
Developing fulfilling CONNECTIONS with your wife, children, and friends based on strong communication (understanding them and yourself better)…
Your Physical HEALTH… What future are you creating with this week’s choices on the plate and in the gym? Is your physical health and energy fueling your goals or hindering them?
INNER CONFLICTS… Has aspects of your upbringing secretly created an unseen ceiling on your efforts to lead and influence the people around you?
A WALK WITH GOD where instead of being plagued by guilt, you’re excited and rejuvenated by his abiding presence!
For most guys, that’s easier said than done.
So when’s the last time someone took the time to hear you out about what gets in the way?
Without any judgment or criticism?
Not just anyone.
Someone qualified who could help you work through the current challenge or goal until you had a clear plan to move forward and the confidence to put it in place?
GOD CREATED YOU WITH A PURPOSE.
Your story matters and He is good.
You have a role to play in this world that no one else can, because no one else has ever had YOUR MIX of gifts, experiences, specific location in space and history… and people counting on them.
I love watching men take ownership of that and connect more deeply…
In their walk with God, businesses, ministries, and families to make a difference beyond what they even expected.
This is what we really want, right? But most men haven’t stumbled onto a plan to actually make that work…
Practically. Biblically. And step-by-step.
MY COACHING PROCESS:
LISTENING
Your needs are unique, so I need to get to know you until I’m dialed in on what you’re looking for, what works for you and what doesn’t. That way, I can tailor my coaching to your needs.
2. DEEPER INSIGHTSTo strengthen your relationship with God by helping you implement a Bible reading habit and understand how its teachings apply to your biggest challenges.
3. UNLOCKING YOUR STRENGTHS
We use assessments like Clifton Strengths, DISC personality profiles, and/or a spiritual gifts test to help you get dialed in on the sweet spot for yourself and your executive team. Because when you’re clear on your strengths and passions, you know what to delegate and where to focus.
4. EXECUTIONWe help you get organized, build better habits, and execute your vision more effectively, both personally and with those you work with.
5. TRANSFORMATIONThrough our partnerships, we provide thousands of hours of biblical leadership training in 15 minute segments from experts ranging from Superbowl-winning coach Tony Dungy, to biblical scholar Wes Huff, leadership psychologist Henry Cloud, and bestselling author John C. Maxwell to every client. These quick, value-packed modules are available live in our coaching or for your personal time.
THIS DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Clarifies your values…
Which informs your goals…
Which helps you develop better action plans
with the people around you…
With follow-up on your progress until you find workflows that fit you best.
For years, I’ve watched in awe of God.
Because this process is transforming lives.
Partly because it’s relational. But also because it’s led by His Spirit and grace. Unlike some traveling conference speaker, I’ll be here each step of the way to help you troubleshoot the nuts and bolts. We take the transcendent and make it practical.
Right where you need it. From wherever you are.
Along the way, I may recommend books such as Boundaries by Henry Cloud (a Christian psychologist), and/or others depending on the areas you want to work on, not to serve as replacements for psychological therapy, but as resources to learn and grow.
Coaching around resources can be really powerful.
But there’s no built-in time commitment. It’s just a matter of what leadership area you want to hone in on and how fast your want to make progress. More importantly, what skills you want to develop.
Call me biased, but it’s really fun.
As my clients begin to see changes in their relationships and work, their confidence and sense of fulfillment grow. Their family members notice a difference. Joy and peace happen naturally.
Because the path is finally clear.
I hope that gives you a little more insight on how I define and conduct Christian leadership coaching for men.
I know how starting any new relationship with a coach can feel risky, so that’s why I offer your first two sessions for free with absolutely no obligation to continue. That way you can test things out and see what you think without making a big commitment.
My goal’s to approach everything from a position of respect… for you, Scripture, and prayer. That way, you can rest assured and experience God more fully, because this is not about me.
His Kingdom brings righteousness, peace and joy (Rom 14:17). Only He can change people’s lives.
So I approach each client opportunity prayerfully, listening to your goals, and based on your feedback, craft a custom plan for moving forward in partnership with you.
“PROGRESS IS DETERMINED BY THE QUALITY OF YOUR TRAINING AND THE ACTION STEPS YOU TAKE AS A RESULT.”
- COACH MILES STOCK
I’M COMMITTED TO MY CLIENTS,
PERSONALLY AVAILABLE
ONE-ON-ONE.
“Miles was very attentive, focused and truly committed to helping coach me to success. His attention to my situations helped keep me focused and moving forward - and I am certainly better for having spent time with him.”
— Scott Tischler,
Engineering Firm Leadership Consultant, Successful Entrepreneur, and Pastor
“Miles is such an empathetic and insightful coach that I look forward to more opportunities to having him coach me. His powerful questions really cause you to think through the topic on which you are focusing.”
— Jay Dickerson,
Denominational World Missions Director for Central America
"I have been doing coaching with Miles for eight months now and it has been an amazing experience. Miles has helped me with certain decisions regarding ministry, career, business, and he has been very, very helpful in giving me biblical principles that help me navigate all those different life decisions. When it comes to marriage and my career, and just many different things in my life, Miles has always been a listening ear. He is a very safe place. And I think he brings a lot of biblical wisdom and just general wisdom to a lot of different situations that one might be going through or one might need help navigating through. And so I highly recommend Miles. It has been a life-transforming experience for me. And I know my experience with Miles has made a mark in my life that will be there for generations to come! I highly recommend Miles, and I can't say enough about the coaching, the patience, and the time that he's put into making sure that different situations in my life are being navigated through biblically."
— Jeffery Poku-Dankwah,
Husband, Father, and Minister
“I’ve known Miles to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and someone who is faithful to the Scriptures as the Word of God. I’ve also known him to be someone who I can go to and have gone to for advice, godly wisdom, and help in discerning the voice of the Lord. He definitely is someone who has been faithful to speak into my life at significant times.”
— Preston Chronister,
Business Owner
“I reached out to Miles for coaching because ministry life can feel extremely lonely and confusing. Trying to discern spiritual issues, personal issues, workplace issues and then how to address each one of them is not something that I could do on my own. Miles has a way of making be feel heard, holding me accountable to the values and priorities I've established and sending me out with action steps. I knew I wanted to and need to grow but just had no place to start. Miles consistently leads me to find those places. I am incredibly thankful for that hard work that Miles leads me through.”
— Thomas Dennison,
Family Ministries Pastor

What is Christian Leadership Coaching for men?
Some coaches and influencers pour all their energy into one area.
They may dazzle and promise to make you millions in what amounts to a pyramid scheme, but what’s the outcome going to be like on the stress level at home with your wife? Men love talking about success, but how do we define that word in the first place?
The Bible says, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”
That’s why I base my life coaching and leadership coaching on a solid education in both Biblical studies and coaching, my own journey back from adversity, practical leadership strategies, and a listening relationship with you.
If you want to integrate your Christian values and faith into your executive leadership, career, marriage, parenting, or health but aren’t sure where to start or how to make your goals a reality, working one-on-one with me in Christian coaching could be a great fit.
Men come to me from all kinds of places and countries around the world.
Whether you want to focus on learning how to lead your team in a way that’s more Christlike and effective, improving communication with your spouse, or overcoming immorality, each of my clients gets unlimited access to video-based training in 15-minute segments from some of the world’s best authorities in every coaching package with me.
Because I want to equip you and walk with you each step of the journey between here and your goals.
It all starts where YOU want to make progress. Once you have identified that, we can proceed to casting vision, seeking God, and building habits.
With zero judgment. At your own pace.
This isn’t therapy.
Therapists and other mental health care professionals typically try to diagnose you with a psychological disorder, because if they don’t, insurance doesn’t cover their services.
Some situations call for that.
But I don’t diagnose people with psychological disorders or treat any of those conditions. I don’t provide mental healthcare, medical care, or marriage and family therapy.
Christian coaching is spiritual, goal-based, and forward-looking.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t see a psychologist or mental health care provider at the same time, as long as you understand our differences. Sometimes, depending on the situation, people may seek help from both.
COMMON TOPICS I COVER:
Making time for what’s most important when you feel enslaved to what’s urgent
Learning how to lead in ways that motivate your family or team
Finding your calling in God’s kingdom
Understanding your wife’s anger and how to resolve conflicts in a way that brings you closer together instead of leaving you lonely and confused
Gaining victory over habitual sins no matter how much you’ve felt defeated
Making good on diet and exercise habits where you’ve struggled before
Starting a business to invest your gifts and find the excitement of living your purpose
Spiritual formation to experience real joy and peace of mind

SO… HOW’S IT GOING (REALLY)?
We all have bad days. In fact, sometimes they can be grueling.
But do you have a peace and joy that gets you up in the morning and fuels everything that you do?
Is there a trusted brother in your corner who could process anything with you?
Or do you feel like you bounce between crises like a cog in a machine that someone else is controlling? This is your life.
Who’s running it?
I get it. Sometimes church sermons can make spiritual lessons sound easy.
But often we need time to explore how to integrate them into our daily struggles—especially when we’re having enough trouble getting through the week and staying on top of our responsibilities.
Many of us can remember a time envisioning a life that would glorify God and give us peace but since might have gotten stuck on how that translates in the real world.
You know - that place where things get complicated.
And we feel like we’re flying solo.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
Many people once felt inspired by faith…
But today find themselves overwhelmed and distracted by a perplexing decision. Trapped in a life of boring routine and problematic relationships.
Others feel overwhelmed by their sins.
Or maybe you have found the clarity you need and are pursuing a goal, but it’s been evading your grasp.
Sound familiar? We all can relate. So the question becomes:
Why stay stuck?
Our pastors have great hearts but often are stretched so thin, they simply don’t have enough time to give individualized attention to everyone who needs it at church.
You could see a psychiatrist, but do you really want to be labeled with a psychological disorder and given pills? Of course there’s a time and place for that.
But is that what you need?
Or would you rather hash things out with someone you trust?
Someone who doesn’t see you as damaged or defective, but respects your God-given strengths. That’s Christian Coaching.
Together, we can chart a path forward that both honors God and restores your joy.
Below are some frequently asked questions men often ask about Christian coaching.
IS COACHING FOR ME?
To answer that, just ask yourself:
What’s making me feel the most pressure this week? In that situation…
Am I clear on what God is doing?
Do I have a plan that gives me peace and benefits the people involved?
OR have I fallen into reaction mode, avoiding conflict and somehow hoping it all goes away?
Well, HOPE’s a good place to start… but not a very good strategy.
"The purpose in a man’s heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out." - Proverbs 20:5
MY COACHING DOES NOT:
LECTURE you from the Coach’s experience.
SHAME and condemn you for “under-performing.”
DISPENSE unwelcome advice.
INSTEAD, MY COACHING:
BUILDS a relationship with you based on really listening to understand what you need to change in your organization or life. Whether that’s profound or intensely practical.
DRAWS from your core values, strengths and Scripture to help you explore where God may be leading.
SUPPORTS you in creating action steps that fit your unique personality and maximize your peace and confidence in moving forward.
STAYS COMMITTED to you for the long haul, or as long as you need to achieve the victory you’re seeking.
For many, this is a transformative journey.
WHY NOT COACH YOURSELF?
Well… people talk to themselves all the time—that doesn’t make them smarter. 😂😂😂
Could that be because God never meant us to soldier on in isolation?
As men, we can be fiercely independent.
That’s just part of our strength. But when our goals and challenges become too complex—we only hurt ourselves and those close to us when we insist on not accepting any help from our brothers.
After all, life is a team sport.
But cultural shifts, family dynamics, and rapidly changing technology have added to the already-daily strain of juggling responsibilities, leaving many of us drained with unanswered questions on how to thrive in these confusing times. To live on purpose according to what matters most.
No one feels this more acutely than leaders.
WELCOME TO THE WILD WEST
All of the factors above have led to the recent explosion of Coaching for a variety of topics.
The struggle is finding a trustworthy one.
Many Coaches are poorly untrained or trained in unrealistic modalities.
Though it can offer valuable insights from neuroscience and human behavior—when divorced from Biblical wisdom, much of the secular coaching today promotes a "me-first" philosophy that doesn’t pan out in the real world—and lacks the power to make lasting change.
KINGDOM PROVEN LEADERSHIP IS DIFFERENT.
I draw from the best of neuroscience, coaching techniques and leadership principles but submit everything to the authority of Scripture and look to God as our final authority because His Kingdom brings "righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom 14:17)."
There is no one like Him. That’s why I strive to keep Christ at the center of every coaching relationship.
